Education Living Learning Community (ELLC) Learning community for first year School of Education students Singly enrolled first year School of Education students See learning outcomes in the learning Community brochures  
Parents Letters and Survey Letter to parents of incoming students to find out parents expectations of the University Parents of incoming students Will begin this summer and follow-up will take place in December  
Pre-Block Reviews Checklist and student essays to make sure students meet academic and professional standards of the field and to make sure students are committed to the field of teaching Teacher preparation students prior to professional methods semesters (sophomores or juniors)   Able to determine if students are prepared to continue in the field of Education
Block I & II Faculty Meeting Faculty that teach Block I and Block II semesters meet periodically in the semester to talk about the students supervisors and host teachers in the field
Assistant Dean attends both meetings
Students in Block I and II   Opportunity for faculty to discuss students progress in the courses and out in the field
