A 1% change in the 6-year graduation rate is approximately equal to 25 students within a cohort retained to graduation.
We will reach our 80% five-year goal assuming that our current graduation rate of 74% is an accurate baseline and that our proposed increase of 175 retained students for the Fall 2002 cohort is achieved.
